Hit the track with the E55 for the first time
Well I finally got it out to the track and probably should have checked for some tips on launching before I did! I had a ton of fun learning the car and figuring out how to get it down the track anyway. I entered 2 brackets so I could get at least 6 runs in. Heres how the day went, it was mid to high 80's all day at Englishtown Raceway in NJ.
Run 1 : No traction at all. No more stabbing throttle.
60 Ft : 2.97
1/8 : 9.84 @ 83.54
1/4 : 14.49 @ 106.29
Run 2 : Stalled to around 1200, left easy then rolled into throttle. Spun anyway with nasty wheel hop and let up to get into 2nd.
60 Ft : 2.08
1/8 : 9.30 @ 80.68
1/4 : 14.06 @ 105.34
Run 3 : Same as previous. Little more gentle. Still spun top of 1st but not as bad. Let off and got right back on it. Also swapped in K&N's right before.
60 Ft : 2.295
1/8 : 8.83 @ 85.31
1/4 : 13.41 @ 108.23
Run 4 : Eliminations in one of the classes (Was kicked out of other class for non american car). Nothing much to go on. Dialed in at 13.40. The other car also happened to be dialed in at 13.40. Got around him really quick and stabbed the brakes hard before the end so I wouldn't break out.....
60 Ft : 2.12
1/8 : 8.38 @ 86.53
1/4 : 12.98 @ 98.44
Run 5 : Short cool down afterwards and snuck into time trials. Getting better off the line but still spinning.
60 Ft : 2.06
1/8 : 8.37 @ 8.10
1/4 : 12.97 @ 107.74
Run 6 : About an hour and a half cool down. Got right to the line pretty quick. Car left identical to run 5. Best run of the day!
60 Ft : 2.07
1/8 : 8.25 @ 87.45
1/4 : 12.69 @ 111.52
I think the cool down seemed to really help. I've ordered the updated Bosch pump for it just in case it's an issue. No big deal if not at least it will be nice and new. Otherwise I had a great time and I think it did pretty good for basically dead stock. I'll swap the new pump in and see how she does on Sunday hopefully!

So dead stock our cars do mid 12's ? I thought the number was mid-high 11's depending on the weather.
Looking at your times you definitely improved and learned quickly.
Next time try. Car in comfort mode then raise it (suspension) and trans in Sport setting and letting it shift on its own
Did you think you lost power ? or the S/C turned off ? that would be a sure sign of pump not working.

About mid 12's with a descent launch if everything is running good is what most should run stock.

What was the elevation? These cars in optimal running condition are mid 12s no problem. Some have gone faster (didn't some hit high 11s stock?), but every car has factory freaks.
Those ETs and traps are very low. Your pump is definitely dead (hopefully not more serious issues).
I'm the worst drag racer you can find and I managed a 12.3 my first time out (then back to back 12.4s - mph were 114, 116, 115).
This was done in 75 degree weather and the only upgrade I had was the Bosch 010 ..

107-108 traps are definitely a sign of a dead pump. I changed my pump and traps when up to 116 without changing anything else.

2005 E55, 11 second truck, ducati streetfighter 1098
hey I know you. haha I was talking to you at the track, I got the GMC truck running in modern muscle. I seen your first pass, I was a couple cars behind you and seen you spin bad. I didn't catch any others though. the air that day was complete ****. I measured DA at around +1800 late morning, about the time we got second time shot. my truck was off beat by about .60 and down 6-7mph

Hopefully all true man. I guess at least the pump will be up to spec. I may be scoring a new heat exchanger before the weekend so I can throw that in there too.

OP-
What's your mileage? Even if the stock pump is working well, I bet if you changed it out to the Bosch 010, you'll see ~2-3mph faster and a better ET. Actually, I'm willing to put money on it
The car is literally transformed into a faster beast without adding any actual power. I swear by the Bosch 010 pump now, if you can't tell haha

Well went back to the track with a new Bosch 010 and a PLM heat exchanger. I don't expect much out of the heat exchanger till I split cooling but I wanted to see what the difference will be once I do.
Temps were in the mid - high 80's. DA was 1600
Run 1 : Wheel spin. Little lazy to roll into throttle.
60 Ft : 2.06
1/4 : 12.60
MPH : 113.22
Run 2 : Almost no wheel spin. Rolled hard into throttle on accident.
60 Ft : 1.88
1/4 : 12.372
MPH : 113.31
Run 3: Whell spin. Tried to be too aggressive off the start. Got back into it fast.
60 Ft : 2.04
1/4 : 12.519
MPH : 113.33
Seems to be stuck in the 113's! I was hoping for at least 115. I think i'll plan out a plug change and some wires to do along with splitting the cooling next. Also my power steering pump is making some loud rattling noise so thats on the list.

Good job man!
Try letting off the brakes and slowly pressing the gas pedal about 3-4 seconds until WOT. I mean slowly. The trick is to not let the traction control light to come on. Or as very least as possible.
You can then push turn off the traction control once your close to 2nd gear shift or little after so the car doesn't pause during shifts due to traction control. Or if you think you got what it takes turn it off and roll on the throttle out of the gate! But, be warned you get antsy and you will light up the tires way too much. ;-)
With some lower air pressure and practice you can get your times down. Don't forget to cool down you car between runs. Blast the heater full after running and open hood, use ice bags if you got em. They work extremely well on our cars ;-)
I just ran my car recently for the 2nd time at the track all stock with the exception of cm30 IC pump and mixture of 91 octane and ms109 unleaded race gas. and ran 11.9, 12.00, 12.1 was the worst of the day on brand new michelin pilot super sports street tires.
GL!
