I would like to say thank you to everyone here as this place is a wealth of information and knowledge. I have been looking for an E63 for quite some time and finally decided if I did not do it soon, I would never do it. After "shopping" for a year or two I finally found "The One" and made the purchase. I got a real nice 2008 Capri Blue Metallic E63 with 29,250 miles loaded to the gills with options including the elusive P030 Performance Package. From what I can see the only thing it is really missing is Distronic, which I am perfectly fine with.
Thanks again for all the great posts and info. I look forward to meeting some fellow owners and leading more about this amazing car.

Thanks for all the support and positive feedback.
This car did not come with the flat bottom steering wheel. I think that was a 2009 change. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

You're probably right but I swear I saw a 08 on ebay with a flat bottom, maybe it was a late 08 or the owner changed it himself, that I'm not sure . Either way you got a beast and if you ever decide to upgrade the wheel it's a piece of cake, but I would def do it if I were you. There is a gray 09 on ebay right now with P30 and it has the flat bottom wheel.

I really wanted the flat bottom wheel, but from my research that is a pretty expensive change just for a flat spot. I will change it if I wear out this one anywhere.

Probably just going to keep it pretty tame...this thing really does not need too much to make it any better. I already have the clear side markers on order. Thinking about the lighted door sills and maybe a few small things. No major performance stuff...yet!
