Note sure what all you have drawn but based on the arrows and colors would not route the tank that way. I have the same set up and did mine like this.

1) You want the tank water line to go to the front pump inlet side and the outlet pump side to feed direct into the inlet side of the IC. You want hot water from the IC outlet to go to HE`s and then back to tank , after it hs been cooled some. This set up allows you to put ice in tank and get the coldest charge to the IC system.

i would like to have the diagram for a water tank ( water and ice ) in the engine bay, if its possible, maybe 2.5 gallon is to small ? i dont want to use 2 pumps and go with trunk tank---.now by using water and ice , would need a baypass valve to go directly to the i/c? ( skipping the H/E),will it be more efficient for 1/4 pull. what do you guy's think, thank you

The main problem is space. It's so cramp under the hood there's no much room for a tank. Some use a small tank where the AC intake vent is, but there must be a better solution.
