E55 sitting crooked

I recently bought a E55 and i just noticed today that its sitting lower on the drivers side. Considerably lower, perhaps almost an inch. I pressed the lift button and both sides lifted but the passenger is still higher. I thought it could be the pump but im not familiar whether it operates either side or either front or back. Also if the pump wasnt working wouldnt it not lift it at all? any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

you might have a leak or a bad strut

would it make sense that it would be one size? if it were strut? is it one pump per side? or for front and back?

1 pump.. it fills 4 air bags . 2 front strut/air bags and rears are just 2 airbags along with 2 separate shocks...

You have a leak in the bag or lines for that one side. Otherwise both sides should be flat, not just one.

Theoretically could it be a bad STAR lowering setup?

I don't have Star and never use one, but can Star adjust the rear independently?

Check the sensor on the driver side front strut to see if the linkage is damaged, or mis positioned, compare to the passenger side.

mine also leans little bit to the driver side. It ain't an inch difference though.
Also, this happened after I installed new Driver rear Shock and never got a chance to get it recalibrated.

First thing you should do is if you know someone, try recalibrating it.

it turned out one of my brakets (the passenger side) had a bend in it causeing it to sit higher. straightened it out and now it sits flat all the way around.

Can you elaborate on which bracket you're talking about?

That is correct, it's the braket that attaches the level sensor arm to the upper control arm
