Has anyone attempted to order these lately.? They were available on the e500 in 2000 but were not available on the e55, according to the dealer.

i do not think they are an option on the 04 E55 either.

1) I don't believe anywhere in the world was a Mercedes E500 availble for the year 2000.

2) There would be little point in having the rear seats fold down as the fuel tank is between the rear seat back and the trunk.

,you're quite correct. I meant the 02
models, which did offer folding rear seats. I saw them. But I think they stopped offering them.
