Help - need to extend my CPO warranty
Hi All,
I have a 07 E63 and the CPO is expiring soon. I asked my dealer to renew my CPO (ELW) for 1 year and got a quote of $3200. Please advice if this is a reasonable quote and if you have any contacts in dealership who can offer discount/better rate.

Have you had any warranty work done to the cars? I'd take the car to Benz Elite before the currenty warranty expires and ask them to go through the car like a Prepurchase inspection and give a list of what needs to be done. Then get it fixed under warranty and use them for future repairs. But at least get as much as you can repaired under current warrranty coverage. Then your car will be good to go for a few years and not need the 1 yr warranty.
several e63 owners have head bolt/gasket problems, airmatic, SBC going bad, gas smell from fuel sending units, etc. do a search of common problems, rear main seal.

No mods at all, except for the wheels. As a mater of fact the car in the dealership (MB Chantilly) getting the motor mounts, trunk handle, software updates and some side marker issues fixed. I also asked them to check my suspension as well. The car is good condition but prefer to have warranty if can find it for a reasonable cost.
