Has anyone had issue with the shifter, intermittently not shifting manually??
Weird thing, My car was in drive and sport mode. I decided to shift manually and it did not shift to 2nd when trying manually. It was strange.... But, when in regular sport the car shifts fine on its own and hauls the mail. It's not doing it today but. It was very odd.
Anyone have issue with the shift lever not going back all the way? Maybe causing the manual mode in the shift lever to not activate. Yesterday the shifter felt like it was not going back all the way and the left right movement of the shift lever for manual shifting didn't feel right.

happened to me once but i just needed to push left a little firmer and i also hold it left until it shifts... slapping it didnt work.
if the shifter feels weird i would remove it and inspect. might have a foreign object interferring with the movement.
