Custom e63 Exhaust Pipe diameter/sound question.
Hey Fellow members i have a quick question id like to ask.
I am planning on getting my whole exhaust done at a local shop.
My question is what is the standard size diameter for the factory e63 pipe?
What are the sounds differences would it make if i choose to go with either 2 3/4'' or the 3" pipe lining?
I am planning on going Straight pipes, X-Pipe, Secondary Cat Delete, Resonator Delete and Muffler delete lol. Will my drone be insane after all this is done?
Thanks for reading

all i have is a GT exhaust and i removed the resonator.. it drones but not bad. you will hate life if you remove all of what you listed. Leave your stock exhaust on.. and remove the resonators. it will be loud and actually sound good.

hes right, when i first got mine i removed just thre resonator and put in a stright pipe, seemed quite after awhile so then i just removed secondaries and replaced with a 2.75" x pipe (where the secondary cats were) with straight pipes down to the stock mufflers.

ok thanks for all the advice guys, much appreciated. I am going to try the no muffler set up first with x-pipe and 2nd cat delete to see if i like it or not then adjust from there if its too loud lol. I dont really care about the sound in the cabin. Will post of vid....it must be extremely loud but hey its not permanent lol.

I have custom headers, no cats, no resonator (3" x-pipe) 3" all the way back to a set of magnaflow mufflers with custom tips. I did have no mufflers but that was insane loud and there was no back pressure.

This was before I did the mufflers. This is all 3" T-304 stainless exhaust. Maganaflow part #289-17157 is the mufflers I went with.
