I did! I ended up getting it through Manheim. From what I saw, that car was traded in to a land rover dealer in Jacksonville FL and then ended up at Copart. A small used dealer in Davie, FL had it and tried to retail it but the car had more issues than they wanted to deal with (they thought it had a blown motor! But they were very wrong ). I bought the car from them through Manheim for 12,900 and all it ended up needing was a $300 oil pump. I lucked out big time. I have racked up 9,000 near trouble free miles so far and all I have needed to date is regular maintenance stuff the last owner neglected.

How much were you trying to buy it for?

Yea that's it, I was dealing with the wholesale manager at Matheny Jaguar/LR. Based on some info I found out about it from it's past I was offering $10,500. They had just sent it to Copart after I looked at it and wanted $14k. I wasn't real comfortable above that but probably would have gone to ~12k. After a few back and forths he just said lets see what it goes for at Copart. I wasn't going to go through the hassle of bidding on it and then have to pay buyers fees, etc so I let it go. I think they ended up getting around $10k Glad to see it's in good hands, it was a nice car for sure, the exact color combo I was looking for. I ended up getting a silver one down in Gainesville about a month later for a decent deal.

It has had prior paint work but I was happy to see all original frame and body on the car. Previous florida salvage now a texas rebuilt. Body work was decent but the paint needed a good wet sand and buff. Aside from that and the oil pump I've put in, it turned out to be a rock solid car. Purchased with 71k miles. Showed salvage report at 50k so atleast it was repaired and driven for quite a while. I'm thinking it was a vandalism or hail car. I found the original owners info. I guess I could ask!
