Intake Manifold gaskets covered by emission warranty?
Hi guys. Quick background -
Have a 07 E63, 52K miles.
Got a CEL this week, a little lag in performance, but only other noticeable change was when I put the car in park, it revs to about 1K vs. the 750 idle typically.
Had code checked today, said "engine blower valve" and intake manifold gaskets. My shop quotes $900 for the job, but said it may be covered by the 7 year, 70K emission warranty
Any one else dealt this this? I don't have an extended so wondering if I should even pay the $150 dealer diagnostic, which would put me over $1k total if they say no.
