Hey guys I'm going to be getting an X pipe installed and resonater delete. I wanted to know if there was a problem with the mid section being 3" in diameter going into the rear section that's 2.75 from what I've learned here. My main concern is scavanging and disrupting natural exhaust gas flow by giving it 1/4 more flow in the middle only to go into 2.75....

All of you guys rock, I work on my car and have gained valuable time saving tips from everyone here. Thank you

Hey guys was this question so lame no one decided to bother? If I am totally wrong about my question re exhaust please advise. I just want the car to breath a little better and do not want to just put an x-pipe all ***** niliy or milli vanilli better. Below is a pic of potential mid pipe set up.

A 3" pipe in the middle of a 2¾" system will offer no gains based on size alone.

Thank you HeissRod, I'm hoping replacing secondary cats and resonator might help a tad. I'm going to see if I can get the x-pipe in 2.75 size from Dr. Gas. Thanks
