Quick brake help!

Hey fellas, my car has been up on stands for almost 2 months due to a nightmarish experience with powder coating/rebuilding calipers. Trying to get the rears back on the car and I can't seem to get the replacement lines to reach the fittings.

Could someone please check and see which side the bleed valve goes on the rear calipers? I need to know if the bleeder is on top or bottom, which would determine if the brake line comes out the top or bottom on the back of the caliper.

I basically need to know which caliper goes on which side of the car. I know it sounds stupid, but it's not readily apparent from pics because the outside face is symmetrical.

Thanks!

This place is a joke.
Bleed valve ALWAYS goes on top, air rises in the fluid...

Thanks. I installed them that way out of the gate but for some reason the lines don't seem to reach. Odd, because I checked and they're the same length as the stock ones.

Did someone split your calipers apart? They may be assembled backwards; or your bleeder screw is in the wrong place. Looks like there are allen plugs that go where the bleeder can go- depending on installation location on the car... My bleeders are up, on the inside of the caliper, and from what I can see the hose goes to the bottom of the caliper.

Yeah they did. How would you tell that? It seems it would be the same configuration on the back side of the caliper either way...

I'm ****ting bricks right now. This has been a nightmare.

I think you are right, it wouldn't matter, just looking from some google pics. Any chance the bleeder screw is installed in the wrong end? Is there a hole/plug where the bleeder screw can be swapped?

I think you do have a point. The pistons are switched and not corresponding with each other. I think I'm ****ed either way. These are torqued back together and the pistons aren't matching up. No clue if I ran them like this if it would cause problems or not. UGH

I think the line not fitting may just have something to do with the suspension being dropped all the way.

Can't see if they're corresponding large/large small/small piston on either side, but i'm pretty sure they should be, because I verified that the fronts are configured in that manner.

The problem has gone from the lines not fitting to them being assembled wrong. Either way I'm going to probably be buying new calipers and having them recoated. I'm unsure what would happen if I did install them like this.
