Talking OT - a little Plasti-Dip today

I bought a can of Plasti-Dip at Home Depot yesterday ($6!) on a whim and my son had some fun today...

taping up the rear trunk valance and bumper - Mach 1 style

end result on the rear - wow!

onto the front...

starting to take shape...

the basic shell is done, ready for plasti-dip!

a nice coat of the flat black

finished result - WOW!

I have to say, I'm pretty proud of my modder

I'm wondering how that leading edge will hold up on the hood or if it will start to peel. The rear looks money!

I've had it on the skid plate if the Rap fit 10k+ miles. Outside of some rock chips it has held up really well.

Get them hooked while they're young. Better have cars as a hobby then other hobbies' kids are doing now a days!
