Usually people paint their rims or calipers to accentuate the other but golden on the rim whilst caliper being silver
doesn't achieve any of the aforementioned purpose.
This is my opinion. So pick a color that would help the other shine "so to speak"
For example my car is Matte black even bird sh*t shines from miles away lol and so do the stock color calipers. Hope you catch my drift

Indeed I do. I also think the contrast differences conflict. I have no I tensions of leaving this on there... Just doing something a little different for fixxfest. I may tear off the gold and go murdered out 😈😈

This place is a joke.
...And the sagging door hinges, clanking sway bar end links, and leaky t-tops too...
Yep those 245/50/16 Goodyear "Gatorbacks" were the envy of all performance cars. And the 5.0/5.7 TPI was bulletproof.

I bailed on the vintage gold. When I did the one wheel and peeled the tape off, some if the plasti dip lifted off. So I tore it all off this morning. Maybe if I have enough time durin the week, I'll try doing pearl over the silver

It does have a matte'ish look to it right out of the can, but I sprayed two coats of clear on it. I liked the way it looked, but the colors between the wheel and the caliper were conflicting too much for my liking. And also, when I dipped the wheel, I taped the inside of the wheel to control the over spray and some of the dip lifted when I pulled the tape off... Probably pulled the tape off too soon. Lesson learned.

Turbo TA was nice. I see a pristine one running around my neck of the woods every once in a while.
That was a pace car right?
