Adding hubcentric spacers to rear wheels W210

What do you think of the idea of adding 30 mm H&R hubcentric spacers to widen the stance of the rear wheels on a stock W210?

18" stock AMG monoblocks w/Michelin Pilot Sports.

PLEASE DON'T TURN THE E55 INTO A "LOW-RIDER"!

30mm seems a bit wide. That may make the tires rub and sit out too far. Just think that would change the rear wheel offset of et35 to et05. If you must use no more than 10mm spacer.

Better to get some 18x10 rims with proper offset and 285/30/18 tires.

I hear you

Kev -

That's what I thought - 30mm is more than an inch. So without changing wheels and tires would 10mm-15mm make a difference? Not interested in the 'low rider' look - believe me!

Looking for inexpensive improvement in traction, cornering, etc.
