Sad to say Paul Walker died today.
Was in his friends Porsche when it lost control here in Los Angeles. Sad to see a fellow car enthusiast pass like this. Seen him at Gintani building his e92 m3, cool guy.

wow - that's incredibly sad...
Once fire crews put the flames out, they found two occupants, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene. Saturday evening, all that remained was the burnt mangled metal of the car and a light pole that had been knocked down.

Forty years old and absolutely on top of the world, so much to live for. What a tragic loss, I really enjoyed his movies. From what I know he was much like his character, very likeable and charitable. Like Billly Joel said "only the good die young". RIP PAUL WALKER my condolences to your family.

Its very sad like every death is - period.
But we have ~59 million deaths every year around the globe. Thats one death every 2 seconds. Only because he was a so called "celebrity", like you call that senseless boloney over the big pond (which seems to be the "center" of many american lifes), doesn't makes it more sensible or more valuable to hype his death into the sky.

I would like to hear the conclusion as to how a Porsche Carerra GT took down a light pole, killed two people and exploded into flames. I would say reckless driving is the cause and at the very least speed. Looks like a neighborhood street as well.

Wow, I didn't see those pics. Yea, professional driver or not, he was driving a little foolish you would have to assume. What weird is, I was checking his car collection out the other day, and his cars are plated in Ohio with a county 25 sticker in the corner which is Columbus. Wonder what is up with that.

Quoting some stupid statistic. Just because many people die around the globe does not diminish the tragedy of a single persons loss; celebrity or not.

Incredibly sad news, he never had a chance. Paul was a class act, a talented actor, a fellow car enthusiast, a very likable person and a father. The driver, regardless of his skill, clearly had no regard for his passenger's safety and was in over his head with the Carrera GT. R.I.P. Paul, you will be missed :-(
This incident reminded me of the fatal Carrera GT crash that happened at Fontana Speedway back in 2005:

Remind me never to take a ride in one of those death traps...

I can see why the speed might have been a little bit over the top. Nice perfect straight with really good asphalt. They probably clipped the light post with the 35 miles/h sign.
Sad to hear really...
