I went to test and tune last Sunday at Island Dragway in NJ.
Temperature was 45 degrees and I ran a 12.33 at 117 mph despite a poor 60 foot time of 2.03.
Previous best was 12.56 with a 60 foot time of 1.97 but the temperature that time was 89 degrees.

Welcome to supercharging.
This is the time of year that my car scares me. How you E55 people (much less the luxo-barge S55) do it is beyond me.
But, sometimes, it's good to be scared.

Alpharetta said it best....Welcome to Supercharging....Heck, welcome to intercooled forced-induction of any type, or better yet, welcome to..."Every car is faster in colder air". Proabably more noticeable in intercooled cars though.
Simple science here...cold air is more dense than warm air, therefore more air = more HP. Lucky me, I live in South Florida....it gets "cold" (less than 60 degrees) here at least 2x a year...lol.
