Opinions on Next Car Please.
Audi's have great interiors, solid cars, none of them will have the explosive power of your E55. While they can be modified to make power, they make it differently. I grew tired of 9 years of Audi so for you, the change may be welcome.
M3's have no torque, revs like there is no tomorrowthough, handling and braking are magnificent.
A 4400 lbs tank running an 11.8 @ 118 STOCK isn't "explosive power"? (This in regard to the S8). Hell pretty much anything in the Audi line with that new twin turbo 4.0 will dance. Keep drinking the Kool Aid my man.

Without a blink, get a 997 GT2- high 10/very low 11 sec car from the factory @ 130mph. Forget the rest of those cars...
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Back on topic though, and back to my first post, you should take a LONG look at one of these...

600HP
Great question and I shouldn't have left that out.
A two year old SL63 is right at the top of my budget and about as far as I'm willing to go. So, anything in that price range, 65 K to 80K.
Would even consider a non AMG SL550 but the sound and power of the 63 is pretty attractive.
RS7: I'm going to have to take a look at one. I know nothing about them. Not even what they look like. But, since they came up a bunch in this thread they must be worth a look.
Bently: Oh baby do I love the look of this car. But, no way I can afford to fix the thing if I break it. Plus, a little too high profile for me.
911 Turbo: Giving serious thought to this one. Driven a couple and they are fast. Not crazy about the ride quality and small size but it could be a daily driver. Also, automatic trans is a must.
SL63: Still high on the list. Just a great all around car.
CTSV: Impressive performance but build quality does not appear as high as the Germans. Styling is a like it or hate it type of thing and I'm still on the fence. A friend has a highly modified one pushing close to 1,000 HP. An absolute beast.
I typically buy my cars for cash and keep them for years so leasing is out. Otherwise the budget would be higher. Once I get a car I like I tend to baby it and keep it awhile.

Saw a Panamera turbo at local restaurant the other day with a crowd of people around it. Definitely a head turner with all the extra goodies done to it.

but like was stated when Panameras are done RIGHT it has more road presence then many exotics.
Just an FYI
i loved my E55/BRABUS body car in the pics.
