Hi all I have a 2003 e55 and have had a lot of problems with the motor not turning over and have narrowed the problem down to the motors ecu. I know they cannot be reprogrammed from another vehicle so what else apart from the ecu do I need from another car? Or do you know of anyone who can repair My ecu? # is 1131533979 and has keyless go. Thanks

 

literally just got mine back from Eurocharged, havent plugged it in yet, contact them and ask if they keyless go matters. turn around was fast and reasonably priced. if you do need another ecu to send with yours let me know! i might have one

 

Reprogramming an ECU from another car of the same model is entirely possible. It needs to be unlocked and coded in Star DAS under developer then ran through Drive Authorization. Or pre-coded which I'm currently working on.

 

Does eurocharged have the capability of unlocking an ecu?
