Engine fail all the time for varying types of reasons, that may sound crazy to you but that is reality. It doesn't have to have every mod from your local performance shop's catalog installed for something to happen. Nomad's car does have "minor mods" in the grand scheme of things, he just ran E85 which gave his minor mods a big power boost, he made good power and ran great 1/4 mile times that you probably never will.
I really can't wait for the day you go to the track if you actually ever do. I don't even need you to post the failing results you get, because I know as you sit there looking at the slips depressed that will be good enough for me. You honestly have no damn clue about drag racing but always seem to think you are going to do great things.

All I'm saying is if these AMG guys who have CTSVs on our forum blew up a motor on their Chevrolet they should say so. No pleasure is derived by me from hearing someone blew a motor, but when comparing engines/dicks which is.. what it is I guess. It does matter. My motor could go at any time but I'll enjoy it till then. I will not knock the members who have acquired these cars in the past couple of years , all high and mighty... I posted my numbers the car isn't half as fast as most members here and I don't mind works for me. Peace

You said you WERE GOING to run 9s and that I challenged because you think it is WAY EASIER than it is. The car you bought you know ran 11s with a good bit of power on the bigger turbos it had. You think because the car has some different turbos and will get out of the hole different that it is just going to be so easy.
Hell a V that was posted earlier that went to twin turbo that has ran 9s in the past on stock blower and nitrous ran low 10s with twin turbo while making in the mid 800s for power at the wheels on the boost setting he was on. A guy that has a better suspension setup than you (not the stock V setup which is already better than an airmatic E), a better transmission than you and has I am sure a much better driver mod than you considering he has an 8 second 6 speed Supra and has ran mid 10s in his 6 speed Viper and 9s in his auto V previously.

Theres a couple 65s that are close... with way more weight. And roughly the same hp, and none E85 yet.

You don't seem to understand all the things that have to go right and the BIGGEST of those things is a good 60ft. Make your car 1000lbs lighter than those, it don't matter if the car doesn't 60ft good, or shift right in all the gears at the track, or this or that. All this you will soon find out.
