Do the rear sensors actually get turned off or are the parameters just widened to the max so the sensors won't throw a fault code?
Also, can you please post the pathway through STAR for those of us with the equipment.

Pretty sure they got turned off. I was constantly getting either the P2096 or P2098 code after installing L/T headers. I even installed some O2 extenders which did not help. Only after they were turned off was when I was CEL free.

Only pre cat O2s provide closed loop feedback. Post cats are only for monitoring performance of the catalytic converter. My aftermarket cats were efficient enough that I never had to disable post cats . Only when I completely eliminated the cats did I need to disable the post cat sensors

I was about to put this into the sticky. I was also going to recommend turning off EGR and secondary air injection pump while in there... but you have done all of that in the link provided

It looks like summit sells a bunch of 02 extension harnesses, does anyone know what connector works for our OEM connectors ?

I found some extenders that "may" fit but I can't tell if the pins are too wide apart for our sensors.
Images of our sensor plugs :
These look like that "may" fit, has anyone tried any of these ?

as far as i know its a mercedes specific connector type. an idea i had when i was going to do this was find a mercedes model that has the same connector type but is a longer harness and just buy those O2 sensors. from my research a front left o2 sensor on a 164 chassis with a 113 engine has a sensor 10 inches longer than our rears. the pins are the same but the round connection housing is the black one (front) instead of the white one (rear). these connectors easily come off and you can insert the pins into the correct connector.
