Ok, just spoke to Weistec (via email as I am in the Middle East right now) and was informed I had my E63 years and engines mixed up.


They said for the 2008 E63 AMG their Stage 3 SC'er package will get me to the Gail of about 750 FWHP that I want.

They also said there's a few people where I live in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami that have these kits......ANYONE HERE have this package......???

I'm looking to hear about the set up.....and possibly see a car with one of these kits on it......

I live in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area and I've never seen a weistec car around. I'm also the one that organizes the dyno days and G2Gs.

I am also interested in the Stage 3 kit for my 2007 E63. Would like to know if any members have this upgrade, how true to the numbers quoted does it deliver, and hos was the install relative to the directions posted.

I believe from memory the complete kit was just under $13,000.

Any decent race shop can install it and they send a tune to download that works perfectly.....no dyno tune needed.

I think I'm gonna do the Weistec Stage 3 and their tranny in a few months. I get home from the Middle East in a month and have to look at a couple E63s for sale in the area.

Do you know of any 2007-2008s for sale in excellent condition in the South Florida area.

It's what Weistec told me. They said if you try to dyno tune it beyond or differently then the tune they provide it will not perform to its max potential.

There are a lot of utube vids of cars with the stage 3 kits too. Now if you want to go beyond the standard 750 hp kit, then you may want to ask about custom tuning then. For example additional mods, more boost or N20 We all want more, as power is addicting

Absolutely.....Weistec was saying the Stage 3 kit as it comes and installed the way it comes uses only their Stage 3 tune.

Of course.....if someone wants more power then definitely custom dyno tuning will he needed to accommodate the additional mods.

I'm sure a little 50 shot would yield 75-100 more on that Stage 3 kit.......

We do the dyno days at Rage-Tek. Rage-Tek has been building twin turbos on my E55. We have a dynojet there. But we just got a bigger shop and will be moving everything to new location within the next couple months.

Is this the first TT kit they've done......the kit going on your E55???? Or have they done others in the past?

What kind of power are they expecting?
Pistons changed?

What's the price out the door, turn key, tuned and ready to drive, that they charge for this kit? Can you PM me if you can't say on the open forum?

I'm looking for an E63.... But I could also save some money and find a nice E55 to mod. They are both nice cars, I just need the power.

The Weistec stage 3 kit for a M156 is $15,780.99 according to their web site. If anyone finds the kit for less, please share. The TCU upgrade will add an additional $1478.99 for a total of $17,259.98.

Yea......I couldn't remember the price I was given. I called to talk to someone about my needs and goals. I want the 850 HP goal personally. Why do what's been done.

My current car is getting a Twin Turbo kit....it will make 1,300 RWHP. Capable of handling 1800 with more boost. There's about 50 of them across the country making 1100-1200. Why do what's been done. We have to keep pushing the limits........

Why do what's already been done? Because sometimes you just want something fun to drive, and aren't out to prove anything. I'm sure your 1800hp car will be great on a drag strip but past that... Well itll be kind of like having an 18 inch pecker. Sure it sounds really impressive to a bunch of other dudes on the internet... But there's not really much you can do with it.

Already have something nice to drive.....2011 Grand Sport Vette (stock) and a 2011 BMW 525i (stock).

So now I want a high end luxury car (E63 or E55) that *** rapes 98% of sports cars on the road. And 1,000+ RWHP is NOT only for drag cars. Come to Miami and watch all the 1,000 RWHP cars having a blast on the road, then drive to a car show, then drive them to work the next day. Just like the 850 HP Weistec E63..... Its a daily driver. Grandma can drive it.

People stuck back 15 years ago still think 1,000 RWHP can not be used on the street. Not true......those days are over. 1,000 RWHP has been done to death. Daily drivers everywhere..........

And I am not going 1,800 RWHP with my 1998 WS6 Trans Am.....1,300.
The engine is capable of reliably holding 1800+.......

My friends 1250 RWHP Viper is the car I want to beat.......roll races....40-180mph. That's the racing we do around here.......drag racing is cheesy....

Just buy the Weistec biturbo e63 that's for sale and be done with it. Easy peazy.

Yes this is the first one. But all they do is build turbo cars.

Stage 1 on stock block and trans should be 700+whp. Then we put in the built block and turn up the boost and build the trans.

But who knows what it will do. My car is the prototype. And it's not a simple slap the turbos under the car. We built custom turbo manifolds, so turbos are in the engine bay and switched to air to air.
