W211 AMG/non-AMG differences

W211 AMG/non-AMG differences
I'm 99% sure of this but body wise, I mean dimensions and fenders are the non AMG W211s and the AMGs the same and are there any differences between pre and post facelift W211s. I know the bumpers are different, the side mirrors and the strip on the bootlid but I mean the front and rear fenders. Are the AMGs widebody because I'm fairly sure they're not, I have both and they don't seem to be in real life but some pics make me question it. It could be the wheel setup I see in some pics giving the illusion but can anyone absolutely confirm.

Same sheet metal. Headlights (prefacelift vs. facelift), bumpers (non-AMG vs. AMG, and also prefacelife vs. facelift), trunk chrome strip (prefacelift vs. facelift), rear taillights (prefacelift vs. facelift), front grilles (prefacelift vs. facelift) are the only body changes.

Yep that's it. I only asked because the W212 is actually wider with the AMG than the non-AMG and we all know the C63 is wider than the C-Class. The W211 facelift was just revolutionary TBH, it was the best thing done to the car. Both the AMG and non-AMG post facelift are gorgeous. Makes the E55 and especially non AMG pre-facelifts look like a previous generation. I love the W211 E63 but I love the non-AMG post facelift just as much

To be honest if you asked me which I would take between the NON-AMG W212 and the post-facelift non-AMG W211, I'd take the W211, it's timeless. I have this love for the W211 that's just magnetic. It's so special to me I don't think I'll ever sell it. I have 2 so I wanna get rid of one but I need to have one in my life no matter what other cars come along beside it. I do think however they could have made the W211 a nicer design with some tweaks. I always felt the rear 25% of the car is to high and short. I would have made the last 25% of the car more slender and a little longer, maybe a 10cm stretch across the last 25% of the car.
