Does anyone know the tightening torque spec for the fuel pump locking ring?

Do not believe there is a spec on that plastic ring because simply there is not a socket to fit it. Since plastic when clean will bind I would suggest some (little) silicone grease, NOT THE SILICONE SEALANT. Place a small amount on the first threads of the ring and "two" hand tighten, best results would be to do it when the weather is warm ,freezing cold plastic is another story.
Good Luck.

I just found it in the service manual actually. It's 80Nm, or about 60 lb-ft. I have the special tool for it so it's actually possible. If you don't have the tool then your method would be the way to go for sure.

Thank You Spazmoid, I stand corrected.
Maybe install without using this tool and doing it by hand could lead to a leaking seal condition?
