Mirror housing removal Help.
Do anyone know how to remove the mirror housing for my w211 08 E63?
I did a bunch of search and I only see the older version of the mirror removal instruction.
This is the mirror that I have on my car.

Yes, bend it like you are folding it in and then there will be a tab in there you will have to "pop" with a flat screwdriver. It will pop loudly. Then you will be able to slide it off easily.

Nice detailed write-up on the facelift mirrors, wish I found it when I did mine. To remove the mirror from the door, remove the tweeter and there are 4 screws on the inside.
To get the housing off was a little tricky (last pic in that writeup), almost feels like you are breaking something before it pops then you need to carefully weave it out. I hated that part. Kept thinking I was going to scratch up the paint.
