It's no secret that the wiring harness spacer on the Mercedes 722.6xx Automatic Transmission is prone to leaks. Over time, transmission fluid will begin to find its way past the seals on the wiring harness spacer and eventually wick up the wiring harness and get into the transmission control module.

Before this failed part causes more damage than a few spots on the garage floor, replace it using ECS Tuning's Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness Spacer Kit.

Yes, this is just a factory connector in these kits. The Genuine Mercedes-Benz kit has, of course, a Genuine Mercedes-Benz Spacer (available as an individual component HERE), while the Aftermarket Kit has an Aftermarket Spacer (available as an individual component HERE).

Both of the Spacers are of the latest Mercedes-Benz design to correct the problem of transmission fluid leaking past the seals, which will eventually wick its way up to the transmission control module.

The kits are just a simple way for you to get all of the components you need to replace the Wiring Harness Spacer without looking all over for all of the individual components.
