i know the guys that own the shop. im 95% sure they arent doing their own tunes on MB and are being done by eurocharged. the tuner, who ive known for a while, has been tuning GM LS stuff for years, he is very good

thats not what i meant by my post for you or anyone reading it. as far as i know there are really only a few tuners out there. i base lined my car there and ill be going back when i get a chance to run it again with the tune and IC pump. the tuner also does my truck but my truck doesnt fit on their dyno so we did that on the street and track.

Save up for the supercharger pulley and grab tune at the same time, I would stick to proven vendors and the known tuners, I wouldn't want somebody to blow up my car while they get to experiment on tuning, my car being the guinea pig, and I have to suffer through the learning curve.

I highly recommend Powerhaus for installation and tuning
My car is there now check out my build thread for updates..
Not only are they building and tuning my e55 they work on my 996tt and 997gt2 aswell
The owner has a twin turbo cls and the head tech has a compound boost e55
So I'm pretty sure they know thier way around a Benz lol

They use Eurocharged software. The nice part is that they have a really good relationship with Eurocharged and are able to get quick tweaks to the tune while the car is on the dyno.

My intention was to not disrespect anybody, and I have never had any issues with any tuners, I guess I should just said I haven't heard of them and to log your car if your going to mod your car...and the be careful.

Thanks everyone for your replies keep them coming, just trying to get a feel for them being that I'm about an hour in a half from them. MAN55LE I am installing a 77mm FSP. Thats why I'm wondering if their reputable enough to do a tune with this fixed pulley.

Wish I was closer 55fanatic. Think I will try them out. Going to be working on my beast in the next week or so and I will need a tune.

i don't have access to his build lists but you obviously have an issue with the shop so ill stop here. if you are truly interested give the shop a call. unlike many of the tuners that frequent here he is always available on the fine and can tell you what you want to know

With the fix supercharger pulleys you have to constantly monitor and data log because there is no clutch you cannot turn off the supercharger heat will become a huge concern so cooling and data logging are two major mods and priorities when dealing with the fix supercharger pulley.... I'm not trying to persuade you one way or another, just telling you the facts, the smaller clutched supercharger pulley has been proven to be a good product, if you can monitor and data log your car as well as keep the heat under control and have your tuner efficiently to your car with FSP

No problem at all
I was just curious bc you suggested him on a mercedes forum...when the OP was asking for info on reputable tuners...so I would assume someone would suggest someone with some mercedes experience
Btw I like your car I used to have one like it

thanx for the compliment. i researched all the top pcar tuners for my build and also errol at tps in fl as well as ups motorsports and their maestro suite 7 software and chose garth and the proefi to use on my car. its all about the homework!
i would love to know what happened to both of the powerhaus cars. they had great promise and honestly were the only 2 cars that managed to finish the project without all the drama of the other builds

That's awesome I'm glad you did all that research on your setup
You must be putting down some crazy power to warrant the proefi?
Considering the fastest 996 and 997 are on stock ecu....
