2005 e55 my push start is not turning my car on. When I press the button all electronics come on but the engine doesn't turn on. If I start the car with they key starts up fine. As soon as that happens my service brakes warning sign shows up. I know the button is working because all the electronics come on but the engine won't start. Any ideas ? Service brakes sign comes and goes I had it reset but still the same issue. Thank in advance for the help

Your brake pedal switch or the pad that presses on the brake switch is bad.

had to replace my pushbutton itself on my car, but i think it's more around the contacts when the shifter is in park - even after replacing the knob/button - i sometimes have to wiggle the shifter for it to engage
