Exclamation OT - saw a GT500 hit the wall last night...
car was 2 weeks old, the guy hit 2nd - lost control - rode up the barrier...

Is this down at the TX2k14?

Damn, what a shame...motor looks damaged so likely chassis damage as well...

nope - at Sacramento Raceway.

actually the engine looked fine, wasn't even touched.. he pretty much kept the pedal down and drove up the barrier

I think actually Obama is planning an executive order to ban further production of any vehicle with more than 6 cylinders and 200hp. The libs say there is no need for anything more. Damn big brother. I remember the good old days when you could push your car out of the drag strip and up against the nearest tree and call a tow truck.

This same thing happened to a friend of my, he bought a gt 500 an picked it up in the morning the evening of that same day he hit four parked cars. He didn't even own the thing for 24 hrs.

Ford forcus, very new to power I believe insurance took care of the damages to the other vehicle. They total his car an now he drives a 04 mustang, so I said to him next time he get something fast I'll give him classes from 10 am to 2pm to show him how to drive lol. BTW I just got home from seeing need for speed at the movies an that 500 sounds BAD A*S, definitely a good movie.
