Wife took the car (2005 E55)to the store this evening and was making a right hand turn at a red light and some a-hole tapped the rear end of the car. The guy flew around her and took off screaming something. She said she wasn't sure if she was hit or not and she pulled into a bank parking lot to look but it was dark out and it's a black car. To her credit, she told me as soon as she got home and sure enough there's a light scratch on the rear bumper cover - a couple of inches long. Personally, I'd rather deal with a scratch than some maniac doing who knows what to my wife on the side of the road. It's just aggravating as all hell!!!!!!

Thats terrible, some stories I hear from my wife getting cut off in the g35 make me enraged. Noone messes with the E
Ive lived in Brookline/West Rox area up until recently, close to JP.
Order some touch-up paint, I just used some on a scratch on the rear bumper a prius prolly left me.

 

I know exactly where you live(d). I lived on the big rotary there; 87 Arborway - where Center St. and the Arborway intersect. Oh well, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later - would have been nice if it was later though...
