Love the shoe! My small car the 2001 S54 roadster version of your car! It's probably not as pristine as yours as I do use it as a daily driver. However since getting the E55 wagon, the M Roadster's become more of garage queen. Basically I only get to drive it when the new baby isn't traveling with me!

Now with 90k miles on the clock, it's time to start getting her back in shape. First up on the list... is preventative care. Anyone know a shop that can do the Randy Forbes reinforcement fix in Phoenix or SoCal region?

This car was built for cruising Rt 1. I've done it 4 times now in this car. Always an incredible experience.

And my favorite wallpaper

For period-correct wheels, I think your E36 looks clean and classy!!

EDIT: How does the AA stage 2 feel?

Thanks. Was an ordeal finding one. They are rare but as m coupe rare. Crazy to think these cars have been on the road 14-16 years!

Love the S54 in the M Coupes/Roadsters. I picked up the S52 only because I had GT35r plans for her future

The ONLY reason I haven't gone GT35r is because this car will be and already is, a classic and rarity.

But we will see what the future holds. She is still bone stock to the tires.

The turbo project is currently 'up in the air'. The car is rather tail happy stock, but with 500rwhp, 305s in the rear will do

PS Nice choice on the color combo on the Roadster

Couldn't handle the tri-spokes any more after the novelty wore off, so I picked up something a little more "me."

The s54 motor is nice but the vanos issues it makes the s52 a better choice. I was doing a PPI for a customer on a few s54 M3's. popped of 3 valve covers and 2 of them had a cracked ear on the exhaust cam gear. he bought the 3rd one and 3 months later he needs a vanos unit. and it is a $2500-$4000 fix..

My little 'toy'. I've owned it since 12/08 and put 45K miles on it.

Oh, I hear ya! That's why I wanted the S52...far more bulletproof and 'turbo-ready'

To me, the S54s are like the toy you want to play with but can give it back at the end of the day (sorta like the adorable baby that can be a nightmare sometimes) before it breaks and you have to fix it or get another!
