Enough said....Lets see what happens. That is a lot of car for the money. I guess if it doesn't sell for that, then it isn't really going to get sold.

Just bought my 08 w/ P2 package, 53k mi, 35k+ttl(dealer maintained, like new in/out, prior CPO car, not a scratch on it anywhere)…I would have loved to buy a white/black combo but black/black was what I go.
Any AMG series car(63 even more so then 55) is a "niche market" car for the most part, you have to find someone who knows what they're looking for & wanting that specific car. Biggest thing for me was color combo

And +1 on your other comments.
I've had the flip experience. Sold my 996 through Cars.com & my FX35. It's on both sites anyways. Thus far, more email leads from Autotrader but low ballers. "Will you take $23K"
I had the same thing with my z06, people offering me 5-7 grand under my asking price.... Those people are just dreamers and probably don't even have the lowball amount the offered. I'd stick to that 29.9 and wait for the right buyer.

I just bought my 2008 with 43,000 miles for 32k. The stealerahip had it originally at 38 then 36 and sold it with no warranty for 32. I asked why it had sat on the lot since November. They said the market for this car had just inexplicably crashed in recent times.
The high quality sales people I worked with assured me that the brakes had at least 65% life left as this is supposedly a minimum spec for their "155 point inspection". I've had two mechanics say the brakes are done for. Stealership A-holes refuse to address their empty assurance. So that just added 2k to the price of the car.
Oh, and the lug nuts were not tightened properly on one of the wheels, 3 fell off, and within 2 days of buying my car, I came real close to losing a wheel on a mountain road (with wife and daughter).

Glad you guys are safe.
@Haranggatang, this is completely crazy, but in America a car can be sold apparently at least in certain states with lose wheels and no brakes or doors or hood or safety certification. In Canada a car must be safety certified and E tested at time of sale to be plated and driven, if for any reason you feel that the car is not safe, as in the case of your brakes, the car would or should be taken to the Ministry Of Transportation (Canada) or your Transportation Authority in America?( Realize things are different but ) where you ask for a safety check on the car, you may have to pay BUT if they find the car is unsafe they will contact the dealer or seller at which time they must make it right or risk losing their license to sell cars, a wheel nut issue is another reason why I personally would be looking into some sort of financial restitution as it seems the dealer is taking you for a ride. In Canada also there is a 10,000 dollar fine for losing a wheel on a vehicle. Not your issue but the idiot that did not tighten it up and risked injury to you and your family. Immediate contact with some legal representation would be prudent on your side if they refuse any assistance. Buyer Beware, just what are the mic readings on the brakes.
Oh and the most important thing you will ever learn so remember this, Never , Never trust a car salesman, this will help you through life. I just about split my side when I read high quality sales people. Do not let this go, pursue with the owner of the dealership at least the brakes to quite you down. Good Luck

Update on this: Car still around, lol. This weekend I took it to Carmax for ****s/giggles. 21K. 21 MOTHFUKIN K. I took the free Auto Check report and got the hell out of there. Still waiting for that perfect buyer.

Was this an actual MB dealership - that is crazy. I just picked up my E63 wagon under kbb at an MB dealership - which is pretty much impossible since practically every AMG E55/E63 wagon I've seen is always above kbb. They provided all records (full VMI report) as well as maintenance they did to the car prior to selling, which included oil change, tranny flush, coolant service, new windshield, refinished wheels, etc. The bonus was lifetime Sirius subscription, since it is bound to the device, not the owner.
I traded in my 2002 Audi S6 Avant for $14k. It was worth $20k according to kbb. The dealership sold it in four days for $19k. I'm totally at peace with that because I hate selling cars and don't have the time and inclination for it.
To the OP - yeah, the buyer's market has to be someone who knows what they want and are able to afford maintenance costs. If it were a wagon w/ 3rd row seats though sold at kbb price, I guarantee you it would be sold within one day. It took me over a year to find the right E63 wagon that wasn't black or silver w/ 3rd row seats and I had email alerts via eBay motors, cars.com, and autotrader.com and a casually did a global search on craigslist.org. GLWS!

I went by a Nissan dealer just yesterday to inquire about a trade-in for a GT-R and I was offerered $23k. Not bad considering last month I was offered the same amount at a different dealer and I put on more than 1k miles since.
It is what it is, these cars are niche market gas guzzlers and I hate to mention it but we'd probably get more money if it were an E350.

When I bought my E63 they offered me $6K for a mint 1992 CAB with low miles. I turned it down bought the car anyway and sold it for $21K a month later.
