10mm wheels spacer question.

Guys looking to buy some Avant Garde M590 wheels, im being told that i need 10mm wheel spacers on the front to make the center cap fit.
Can someone tell me where to get 10mm spacers for our car, and if I will need longer wheel bolts also?
thanks

these will work. on the front you dont need hub centric the hub has enough room for the wheel to sit after the 10mm spacer.

Try to get hubcentric if possible although it may be hard to find those.

eBay is littered with spacers and they also list it that it would fit but they won't in the front.

So make sure that you email and re-confirm from the seller if it'll fit the front.

Regardless of them mentioning the dimensions , bore size and all.

Good luck and if you are able to find hub centric for front let us know too.

I don't understand what you mean ?

Are you saying hub centric isn't needed or hub centric can't be fitted ?

IIRC hub centric would help eliminate steering vibration since the rim sits on

hub of the spacer which in turn sits on the front hub. lol if that made sense.

Shardul, are you sure about not needing hub centric spacers. These cars seem so susceptible to vibration...at least that was my experience with the several sets of wheels I had on my first E55.

I was going to machine a set of 10mm spacers with hub centric but buying a set sure would be easier!

I run 10mm spacers on all four wheels on my car. I purchased hub centric spacers with longer bolts on ebay and had to cut off the hub centering portion of it to clear on the fronts. 5,000 miles so far and zero vibrations. This is with OE wheels FWIW.

with a flat 10mm spacers there is enough lip on the hub for the wheel to sit. get it now?

I've used h&r 10mm front specific hubcentric spacers with good results. They are different than standard ones to clear the larger front bearing cap. Standard ones, I've found don't work.

I ended up ordering these wheels from VIBE motorsports
they will make and supply custom 5mm spacers
first i'll try to beat the dust caps into submission, otherwise i'll throw on the spacers.

I already have 15mm spacers all around. In the beginning I had vibrations
so I assumed that my spacers being flat was the reason.

I'll keep everyone posted on what VIBE send me
Thinking about going with 7mm for the front
Im also getting some 5mm rears spacers made to get the wheels as close to the fender as possible withought rubbing...if needed

UPDATE:
I went with a 7mm spacer in the front NOT hubcentric and a 5mm hubcentric spacer in the back.
I DO have a vibration at highway speed now...very light but noticeable. Tire pressure set a 45psi...is this too much?
also...installer said it would be best to install a hubcentric front spacer, but there is only 1-3mm between the hub and the bore of the wheel...is there a solution to this?
Does anyone make a custom spacer?
does anyone know the hub size on our cars?
Thanks

45 psi ? lol

I've always kept 35 all around. That's what it says on the door panel too.

With 45psi car must be rock hard and jumpy ? lol

My sticker says 32F/35R for speeds under 100 & 38F/42R for speeds over 100? I run the 38/42.

Does your rear spacer have a lip on it for the hub? I had really bad vibrations and I destroyed my rear tires because I ran a 5mm spacer with no lip. A 10mm hubcentric spacer on the rear would work though.

yes rears have a lip
fronts do not
actually going to go wider in the rear
probably 12mm
will post pics of the wheels once i get this sorted
fronts are such a pain as spacer needs a 2mm thick lip it seems
