New owner !! 06 e55
Hello all. Just aquired my long awaited e55 AMG. 2006 53000K. condition is beyond perfect. owner took outrageous care, it still smells new.
Im still in discovery mode but I believe it has almost every possible option. The dynamic seats are awesome!
It was listed as having eurocharged 180mm pully/ecu tune upgrade done.
I would normally always do intake/pully/exhaust upgrades so this is cool that its done already ! Im not sure if there are any further upgraes that are worth while ??
My first experience merging onto the pike scared the #*@* out of me. Never have experience such a violently fast car.. ever...
look forward to the forum interactions

Congrats! I'm originally from MA and have family out near Amherst. There are a couple of MA/NE guys on this board and I'm sure they will chime in soon. Enjoy the power! Sounds like you found a really nice example.
Search all about cooling for these cars. I.E. upgraded heat exchangers, coolant pumps, split cooling and the likes. Since you are already modded maintaining cooling is paramount. Also, consider looking into getting data logging equipment. Cheap insurance to know what your beast is doing so you know when to pull back and not damage a very expensive power plant.

Congrats and enjoy it in good health.
Since you have a pulley upgrade I'd assume that the owner already changed the IC pump.
If not do it right away. 100$~ a pop. Then get a bigger H/E .

I was toild it has a Johnson IC pump from Eurocharged. What i still am trying to find out though is what pully it has..172 or 180.. looking on the site, why would one go with one vs the other The power estimates are almost exact.
