Hey guys, my name is Ryan and I wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking here for years reading and learning about the W211 while waiting for the right one to come along. I've always been a fan of classic Benzes and AMG, and after driving a SLS, it sealed the deal that I needed an AMG. I finally found one and wanted to get your opinions on it. I saw it the other day on Autotrader where the dealer had it priced for $27,994 and now have reduced the price to $25,994. Do you guys think there's something wrong with it or that it just hasn't moved as quickly as they would like?

I was going to stop by tomorrow and take a closer look at it. Is there anything I should keep an eye for other than the usual weak points (Airmatic, CPS, voltage reg, etc.)?

For the E63 I do not know much but one huge expense is the brake job.

So find out when was it done and how much life is left on the rotors not the pads.

Always get PPI and get warranty. You may be able to score a smoking deal but repairs on these cars are equivalent to

that of when they were new which was close to if not over $100k .
