I don't have experience with these lights but I am familiar with stock lights. I am not sure what this connector is. Check your own light to see if it has this also. Mine certainly doesn't have it. But then again mine are not halogen.
I recently changed my headlights. I bought them off ebay and they look to be the same as what you have posted, but in the ebay auction, it was stated that they were Depo lights. I don't see a manufacturer on yours. Also, the ballasts that came with them seemed crappy, but I had a new xentec hid kit to put in the new lights (I've used the xentec's for years with good luck. Only issue I had was when I plugged in the main connector, one of the wiring pins pushed into the housing. Had to use a carefully placed drop of superglue to hold the pin tight so I could plug the connector in... After that, very happy with them. They look clean and fresh. I used 55watt 6000k hid kit. Other than the pin issue, I'm happy with them
