Unhappy Forgestar Wheels

Out of curiosity. Has anyone successfully been able to warranty their cracked wheels through Forgestar? All four of mine are cracked on the barrel, and they have pretty much said that it is a result of hard impact and will not warranty them. I have no tire damage, no visible bends, just rather large cracks through the barrels.

So I guess now the search begins for replacements.

This is why you bite the bullet and pay 3-4k for a legit set of wheels rather than the cheaper alternative... Because end the end you always get what you pay for. Understandably you don't expect these issues with any wheels and not everybody can shell out that kind of money but end the end if you go the cheap route it always ends up costing more.

I learned this a long time ago and have gone through some cheaper sets of wheels myself so now if I can afford a nice set in just save until I can. Imagine if the wheel did more than crack, you could be looking at a crashed car and some hospital bill, which I've seen some friends go through all because of lower end wheels.

It sucks that any company would try to cheap out and not stand behind their product, I mean they could of offered you some replacements at a discounted rate at least, but to stick you with the full bill for a whole new set of wheels when it's obviously due to a manufacturing issue is just wrong.

I nor my parts guy have talked to them since they stated that these cracks where not a structural defect. So who knows they may offer something (haha haha yeah right), but I doubt I would ever sport there product again.

I completely agree and I may park the beast until I can get a set of reputable wheels, or get some temp avantgardes in a really silly color to carry me through summer.

This isn't the first complaint I've seen about Forgestars cracking.
