A reasonable post and good replys, for the most part. MB does compete with BMW, but that doesn't mean they try to outdo them feature for feature. I feel HP is a bigger consideration for the masses than extreme cornering ability. As is comfort and high tech bells and whistles. Like, the Keyless Go is a great feature. And there's Distronic, etc. The E55 is a lot more expensive than a Lexus, but don't try to tell me the quality, feel or thrill is even close. As for quality, BMW has their own issues to deal with. Bland styling? That's a very personal and subjective thing. I like it a lot. Across the line the syling beats BMW. But bottom line, if a sports car is what you want, you need to be researching other car makers.
