Another tire/wheel size question (spare tire)

I recently purchased an 05 that came with a collapsible spare tire. The seller of the care had a flat before he sold it and failed to inflate the tire before driving on it. As you can imagine, the spare is shredded. If I buy an OEM style front wheel and tire, will it fit on the back of the car in an emergency situation? Not looking to rotate 5 wheels, just looking for a cheaper alternative than purchasing another spare from the stealership.

Sold - 05' E55
Which 05' did you purchase?
Another option: Post in the classifieds for a used wheel, or spare?

I have a extra spare tire available (no wheel) if your wheel is ok.

To answer your question... anything that fits over the bigger front calipers will also fit on the rear of the car.

The wheel is fine, I was told that you couldn't buy the tire without buying the wheel. Scoto, I am interested in the the tire, PM with details please. Schnell!, thank you for the answer. I didn't know if the offset from the front wheel would work on the back of the car.

A full size front wheel/tire should fit in the spare tire well, but you'll need to remove the foam liner which the spare tire rests on...and you'll have to pop off the center hubcap off the wheel if you're using the screwdown.
