One question I forgot to ask you guys RE: rev limiter...
When I had my E55, I constantly passed 6100rpm and on towards 7000rpm on my E55 on 1st gear without experiencing any engine cut-offs. I thought the E55 had the rev-limiter at 6.1krpm or 6.5krpm? Was it a fluke on my ex E55?
Do some of you experience the same?

May be custom programming to your ECU???
I've seen about 6200 rpm on my car, and most of the time if it downshifts it will hit the rev limiter, and I've seen almost 6500 rpm once or twice on second gear on an uphill, but that's the most I've seen on mine.

I found it interesting also when I saw it hit 7,000rpm. I don't have the car anymore to replicate it but I am certain at 1st gear I can hit 7,000rpm everytime. I just thought maybe some of you have experienced it.
