Well it's time to sell the HRE's as they are a pain... just bent another rim this am, it's time for a change...
So what is everyone rolling on these days... Anyone have any pics of vossens lately? Thoughts on their build quality and how they hold up?
here is my ride now...

If I wasn't running my Imolas, I'd be all over the 19 or 20 " CV3s.
With the multiple complaints I've seen about cracked rims, I'd stay away from Forgestars.

I've heard of Vossen's cracking. It seems everything cracks or bends. I'll be going verde axis for their looks and price. Kinda disposable at ~$200 a piece. My CLS wheels have been sitting for a year bc three are bent and I was tired of having them repaired.

What are you asking for your wheels? 19s?

Don't take this as calling you a liar or whatever, but do you have any links to that somewhere here? I ask because I had planned on buying Vossens on my next ride.
Of course. Nothing is indestructible, although mine have done a damn good job in holding up to Houston roads.

I don't have links but most of the cracked vossen's I have seen have been with stretched tires. I'm not trying to defend them, this is just what i have noticed. I personally don't like them and was not impressed with their finish

Heiss,
Just google vossen wheels cracks. There's actually a lot more than I thought. Even a website dedicated to issues with them. I have nothing against them. I think they're like any other cast wheel. I adore the CV3. I think running PSS or higher end tires pays dividends. I'm don't with V12s.

Craig's (Chawkins) car looks sharp with the new Vossen wheels he put on after he took his CV7s off.
Here is my car with Vossen CV7s. I have banged some **** pretty good with mine and so far so good. Running a 245/30-20 tire on the front and 285/25-20 in the rear. They aren't high end wheels by any means but they just have a good look on some cars.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
If I was going to buy something new...
I would buy a set of the new style Mandrus Rotecs. They are light, strong, and a great look on the 211. Look on their Facebook page for a new CLS in silver with a set of these on in 20s. It is great looking, and the price is super fair. BTW, I have Vossens, and they have been reasonably durable. Not perfect, but nothing is.
