W211 roof "flaps" damaged
Last week there was a hail storm that ran through my town, there are a few areas that have some hail damage. Considering the quarter size hail i feel the E55 held it's own. There was one flap that must have taken a direct hit, does anyone know how to take these rails off and replace the flap?

This place is a joke.
Wow never seen hail like that here in Florida!! The roof rails snap into place. However they are made of soft aluminum and usually bend when removing since the clips hold so tight. Once they are bent they will never sit flush again. So, likely you will need new ones and of course have them painted to match before installing.

Flaps are not bent however the post closest to the rear of the car has been broken causing the flap to look bent. The second picture you can see towards the top where the post where the flap connects is missing.
