Thanks for all this shweet info guys. If we have a good day today with the 17lb spring, then I will get the eboost2 controller for sure.
Running that type of controller, what would you recommend the spring rate to be, I am guessing alot lower, under 10lbs?

For my setup I went with the standard setup, in which you ask yourself, "what is the LEAST amount of boost I'd ever want to make?", becasue no boost controller can allow you dial in LESS than that spring rate. For instance, I knew I'd never want less than 15 pounds in my Lightning, so I ran a single 15 pound spring (single big turbo and single WG setup). This allowed me to dial anywhere from 15 pounds up to 30+ (if I wanted) pounds for my Race tune/Dyno Queen runs ) The Eboost2 has six stages, so I would have SP1 at 15 pounds, SP2 at 16, etc, all the way up to SP6 which was ballsoutomgihopetheserodsstaytogether mode.

So for staged outputs on this boost controller you would need a trip to set it still. You could set up a rpm window switch to trigger stages and each time you crossed the rpm window it would trip.

Put the 17lb spring in and it is only making 15lbs and tappering off to 14lbs. The IATS are getting hot as hell, up to 140* and the power is dropping off around 5800rpms.
It has been hell trying to get the fueling right, it is all over the place. Still around the 500rwhp mark as a fyi.

It's almost as if AMG built our intercoolers to be efficient to the point of stock horsepower. Seems as if the only way to go fast is to spray or use Meth which cools the inlet charge. Grrr. Wait, Craig are you air-to-air now? I forget.

2 questions:
1. How big is your Air/Air core (dimensions)?
2. Did you remove the old Air/Water Intercooler out of the lower manifold or are you blowing through it?

the stock cooler is removed I am not sure on the tt kit cooler sizing. I can find out but I do know one thing, I am picking up a eboost2 controller and sticking the 13lb spring back in there.
the delivery of boost is not smooth at all, depending on how tony starts the run, the boost is not consistent.
anyone have a hookup on one

Ever heard of Boost Leash? Randy makes some very nice products and the support you get with them is second to none. They have a lot off additional features not found on most boost controllers.
