Airmatic problem ?
Hi all,
I have noticed that everytime I put my suspension on sport 1 or sport 2, there is no notifications shows in the cluster .. Like those in pictures below.
Is it normal that my car doesn't show me on which setting am changing to ?

no lights is comfort, one light is sport 1 and 2 lights is sport 2. Have you had someone change the settings and you should see the car lower..going into sport 1 or 2 from comfort.

My question is that it never showed me the same notifications in the pictures above. Is that normal ?

oh, I see what you are saying. No that is not normal, my car shows the settings on the cluster when I change them.

Hi guys, I am owner of an E55AMG'05. My car has an airmatic problem. The diagnosis gives these fault codes (5132-left side airmatic sensor/5142-right side airmatic sensor/5152-rear airmatic sensor)
Airmatic kompressor works fine up and down.
The problem is that car's left side is 12mm down then right side or opposite! (right side is 12mm upper then left side)
While we connect the car to diagnosis,we made felt and right at same balance but whenever disconnect from diagnosis and try to up or down the airmatic, the problem occurs again.
I think a wire contact to chasis,also deaits of the fault code says the same.
If somebody had the same problem,then help me where to start?

Hi, my 04 E55 also doesn't show anything in the display. It also doesn't seem to lower at all when switched to sports 1 or 2. The lights do illuminate though when pressed. Have you solved this issue yet? Im verry interested in a solution.

My 05 shows nothing on the dash either going from comfort to Sport 1 or 2, though I do feel the car lower slightly (not very noticeable) but I definitely do feel the suspension stiffen going into Sport 2. I also don't get anything on the dash for lowering/raising the whole car even though it is definitely lowering/raising correctly.
Don't think there is setting for this to show the message on the dash, never seen an option unless its in a hidden menu.

Veryswag- Does your cluster display anything when entering sport 1 or 2? My car raises and lowers on command, but doesn't display anything in the cluster nor does it say anything when entering the sport modes. All I get is the lights on the buttons. It also doesnt seem to lower at all when sport 1 is selected.

I've only owned my E55 for 4 months now and am still working to bring it back to its original condition. It also seems to list to the left side quite often. The front struts are fairly new and the raise/ lower ride height function works fine. I do notice it correct the tilt to the left every once and a while on the highway but it usualy always ends up leaning slightly at the end of my drive. It holds its height quite well for multiple days. I did recently experience it lower the rear left (very low) to the point where I almost couldnt drive it. It corrected itself later that night after re-starting it a couple times. I had a heavy load in the trunk on the drive prior to the rear left collapse and it has been driving fine since then (about 2 weeks). Im stumped...
