Bleeding Cooling System/Heater Control Valve Replaced

How do you bleed the air out of the cooling system? I just replaced my heater control valve and I want to make sure that all of the air is out of the system. I am used to seeing a nipple that would allow me to open and bleed off the excess air. Thanks in advance for the help.

Leave the cap off the coolant reservoir. Turn on defrost. Wait till the defrost blows hot air. Some times you have to rev the engine a little to get the bubbles out. Rev to 2k and let off several times. When heater blows hot put the cap on and call it good.
