Hey guys, just parked my car at the airport for 5 days while I was in Brazil and before I left the AC was working - I specifically remember turning it off about half a mile before I parked the car.
Now I'm back and the AC is blowing not just ambient temperature air, but hot air through all the front vents. I found a bunch of threads talking about a blend valve under the wiper cowling on the firewall for when rear vents only blow hot, but I'm not sure if I should immediately jump to that conclusion since it's hot through all vents. Where do you guys think I should begin? Thanks.

Feel the low side hose under the hood to see if it's cold. That's the large aluminum hose near the LF shock tower..

You probably just answered your own question, but make sure your compressor is kicking on. If you've got very hot air coming through the vents then I'd say it has to be your blend valve. You can try cycling the temp up to full hot then back down to see if that trips it so switch over. If so, you found your problem.Originally Posted by Tremek
