E55 AMG ESP
Hi all.

i know the ESP on a Mercedes is always on even when you turn it off and it didn't really bug me on my 2001 C240 MT, but now with the 2003 E55 amg it's really a PITA when i cant pull off a decent drift.

i put the C-class in dyno test mode and had all electronics shut off, including ABS. as the E55 has an open differential and is managed by ABD, putting it in Dyno mode will probably switch off the ABD also makin it pointles do drift on a single tire.

anybody knows what i can do the ESP cutting my engine my power mid slide?

An LSD will really change the whole character of the car and make it much better. They're not that expensive.

you can also get a junkyard diff from a E55/CLS55 that has the P030 performance package, and then you'll have the factory limited slip.

Good luck finding one of these in a junkyard let alone one with a p030 package.
