Most cams you won't even tell they are in the car (Kleemann or SLR). The PTE/VRP are the most aggressive you can get but very little info is known about them and they are no longer in production. Initially when they were released there were claims of 30+whp gains. Some have had issues with idle surge and shutting off at lights. Others haven't. It worked fine in my cars. The CLK had a much more noticeable lope and the blower whine was more audible but the clk come with different cams than E55 from the factory and uses a MAF sensor. My E55 did not idle surge or shut off. I would put them in my CLK just based on the sound alone. They were way overpriced when they came out (like $3200) but you can get them for much less now, if you can find them. I sold both of my sets for under $2k over a year ago
