Drivers side mirror has mind of its own

For a while now, my drivers side side mirror readjusts itself (to where ever it wants to go) every time I start the car. I have tried to reset the memory setting and when I pust the memory button, the mirror does not go where i set it. I have to set the mirror every time I get in the car, once set it doesn't move while driving or anything like that, but next time I get back in the car I have to reset. Anyone have this issue? Any ideas on a solution?

Try putting the mirror adjuster select switch to the other mirror. You can have them move while in reverse, but they are supposed to move back.

Or, try adjusting the mirror while in park then put the car in reverse and just sit there. See if one of the mirrors moves. It should be the passenger one if the mirror selector is on that one.

I have tried all of that, and i have turned off the parking assist feature for the passenger mirror. This one is confusing.
