P0180 ??? Video inside help :-(

Has anybody ever gotten the p0180 code . I've been getting the p0160 so I replaced the map sensor. and now I'm getting this p0180 code along with black / white smoke with strong gas smell at start up. But if I put it in drive and give it a little gas it will idle perfectly and drive normal even the black smoke disappears like if nothing is wrong but as soon as I shut her down it goes back into running like chit mode ....

And yes I know I know I should take it to a mech but I've taken it to 3 different indie shops and they keep feedin me bs stories that I need a new throttle body new computer ect... Before they even hook it up to the star diagnostic. So rather then get bent over by these psychic gypsies I'm gonna attempt to fix it by myself.

Ughh I hope not ... But on the plus side me replacing the map sensor cured the esp malfunction problem I've been having.

And the p0180 on my code reader reads

P0180
Manifold absolute pressure/ baro sensor high output

Do you have a STAR unit?
If not you should get one and start hunting this down the right way.
The generic code readers sometimes take you on a wild goose chase.
